Car parking tickets are available here.  Tickets are £10 if booked in advance and £20 if bought on the day of the regatta. Registration is needed for all vehicles, and vouchers have been emailed to the club BROE administrators for free entry for competitors (with expected car sharing).

We are using the waiting list system from BROE this year which we have not tried before. If you are entering the main event, you are not guaranteed entry unless you receive an acceptance notification. If you are entering the waiting list event we will endeavour to accept you but it will be based on entry numbers. You may receive notifications changing you between main and waiting list events if we cannot initially accept you but this may change if others withdraw.

Wallingford Regatta is ON
It is anticipated that Wallingford Regatta will proceed as normal in 2022.

Following the Government road-map launch on 22nd February, and subsequent British Rowing advice, the organising committee has come to the decision that trying to hold the regatta this year is not going to be possible. With the information we have today, holding any large-scale event before 17th May is going to be very challenging under the current regulatory framework, if indeed possible at all. With that in mind, and the requirement for the commitment of both people’s time and the club’s money in the coming few days, we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s event.

We are hopeful that from May 17th other UK events will be able to run, bringing much needed competition to the sport, and look forward to seeing as many people as we safely can at Wallingford Long Distance Sculls and Wallingford Head later in the year.

It is with regret, but unfortunately an air of inevitability, that we have taken the decision to cancel Wallingford Regatta for 2020. It has been a deeply frustrating period for our sport, with events submitting to the weather over the winter months, and now this unprecedented challenge faces us. We are certain that we will all be back stronger from this, but our focus as a sport and a nation right now needs to be on supporting those that need it, and organising a rowing event is not at the top of that list. We wish you all well over this period, and thank you all for the work you are doing at this time; our thoughts are particularly with those who are vulnerable and those who are on the front-line of this pandemic.

Please try not to be frustrated, try to keep training where possible and above all listen to the advice and stay safe.

Car Parking vouchers have been sent to a club administrator for crews to receive free car parking. Any vehicles (including tow vehicles) must be registered by Saturday midnight.

Spectator car parking tickets are £10 if registered before Saturday midnight, or will be £15 on the day of the event.
